j) 1.     To promote, advance, and democratize education, training, research, skill development, and capacity building in the fields of semiconductor technology, VLSI design, integrated circuits, system-on-chip (SoC) architecture, embedded systems, electronics, software engineering, artificial intelligence, and allied sciences, particularly for students and faculty from rural and underrepresented institutions.

k) 2.     To establish, operate, support, and develop centres of excellence, innovation labs, cloud-based laboratories, design centres, training hubs, incubation facilities, testing facilities, and educational infrastructure for enabling practical and industry-oriented learning and innovation.

l) 3.     To design, develop, conduct, deliver, and disseminate educational programs, curricula, workshops, fellowships, mentorship programs, certifications, bootcamps, internships, and experiential learning initiatives that enable participants to conceive, design, fabricate, validate, deploy, and commercialize semiconductor and electronic systems.

m) 4.     To undertake, promote, facilitate, and support research, development, experimentation, prototyping, tape-out activities, fabrication access, post-silicon validation, hardware-software co-development, and related technical activities in semiconductor and electronics domains.

o) 6.     To establish and support incubation, entrepreneurship, startup enablement, innovation acceleration, and commercialization pathways for students, researchers, faculty, and early-stage ventures engaged in electronics, semiconductor, deep-tech, and allied sectors.

p) 7.     To run training centres for rural and grass-root engineering students to train and make them ready for Industry through private- public participation and to align and contribute to vikshit bharat 2047 initiative.

q) 8.     To collaborate with governments, educational institutions, universities, industry bodies, corporations, incubators, research organizations, public authorities, multilateral agencies, charitable institutions, and international organizations for advancing education, innovation, employment, and technology capability.

r) 9.     To implement and support institutional capability-building and knowledge-transfer frameworks, including Build–Operate–Transfer and similar models, enabling educational institutions to independently sustain advanced technical programs and innovation ecosystems.

s) 10.  To receive, administer, manage, and utilize grants, donations, CSR contributions, sponsorships, subscriptions, endowments, government support, and other lawful contributions exclusively for advancement of the Company’s charitable objects.

t) 11.  To organize conferences, seminars, publications, competitions, outreach programs, public awareness initiatives, and community engagement activities for promotion of science, technology, engineering, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

u) 12.  To undertake all lawful activities incidental or conducive to attainment of the above objects, provided that the Company shall apply its profits, income, and other resources solely for promotion of its objects and no dividend shall be paid to its members.

v) 13, To enhance educational accessibility for meritorious and underprivileged students by implementing financial assistance, scholarships, accessible loan facilities, and resource support (including hardware and learning materials) through the Silicon Setu Foundation

w) The Company shall operate as a not-for-profit company under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 and shall apply its income and property solely towards promotion of its objects.
